Tim Gajser struggles at Keiheuvel International in Belgium

Slovenian motocross rider Tim Gajser extended his stay in Belgium to continue testing and preparing with his Yamaha team following dissatisfaction with his new motorcycle's performance. During this period, he participated in the Keiheuvel International race in Belgium, featuring high-level competition from MXGP stars.

In the first heat of the race, Gajser finished in fifth place, significantly behind winner Jeffrey Herlings, who led by over 40 seconds. However, Gajser's performance declined in the second heat, where he finished 28th and failed to score points, resulting in a 13th place overall ranking for the event. Jeffrey Herlings dominated the competition, winning both heats.

Gajser is currently fourth in the overall MXGP standings, trailing Herlings by 141 points. He will return to competition next weekend for the 15th round of the world championship in Uddevalla, Sweden.
