TIM reaches 80 million queries via Open Gateway APIs

TIM has surpassed 80 million queries through its Open Gateway API program as of June. The telecommunications company is transforming network capabilities into digital services designed to enhance authentication, registration, risk analysis, and fraud prevention for businesses.

The company currently offers seven commercial API solutions: Number Verify, SIM Swap, Device Swap, Device Location, KYC Match, KYC Fill In, and KYC Tenure. These tools allow for real-time validation of phone numbers, detection of recent SIM or device changes, approximate location validation, and automated identity verification to reduce friction in digital onboarding.

To accelerate global commercialization, TIM has partnered with Aduna, a company that integrates network capabilities from various operators into a single platform for developers and enterprises.
