Tim Westwood charged with two additional sexual offences
Former DJ Tim Westwood has been charged with two additional offences involving sexual and indecent assault. The charges relate to non-recent incidents occurring in 1991 and 2004.
The Metropolitan Police stated that the 68-year-old is accused of indecently assaulting a girl aged 16 or 17 in Hammersmith and Fulham in 1991. He also faces a charge of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman in Wandsworth in May 2004.
These new allegations follow previous charges brought against Westwood in October last year. He is currently facing multiple counts of indecent assault, sexual assault, and rape involving seven women for offences reported between 1983 and 2016. Westwood has entered not guilty pleas to the existing charges and denies the allegations.
