TIMA International Music Awards celebrates global artists in Hong Kong

The 2026 TIMA International Music Awards took place over two days on August 22 and 23 at the Kai Tak Main Stadium. The event featured numerous international music groups and soloists, highlighting significant achievements in the global music scene.

Major award winners included aespa, who secured both Best International Female Group and Best Digital EP. Other notable winners included TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Best International Male Group), BABYMONSTER (International Trend Group), RIIZE (Hot International Group), and NMIXX (Pioneer Overseas Group). NCT’s Taeyong was honored as the Starlight Artist of the Year, while William Chan received the Asian Crossover Artist of the Year award.

The ceremonies featured high-energy performances, including an opening set by Taeyong and a multi-style performance by William Chan. Local Hong Kong singer MC Hins Cheung also participated, performing several songs and expressing interest in future collaborations with aespa.
