Timbaland and 1K Phew announce ‘street gospel’ album

Music producer Timbaland and Christian hip-hop artist 1K Phew have announced a collaborative album titled ‘Seven Trumpets’, scheduled for release on October 30th. The duo describes their genre as ‘street gospel’, a sound intended to blend hip-hop influences with spiritual messages.

During an appearance on The Morning Hustle, Timbaland discussed his spiritual evolution and his desire to create music that glorifies God. He also reflected on the shifting music industry, noting the devaluation of music production in the digital era compared to previous years when single beats commanded much higher prices.

Additionally, Timbaland praised Missy Elliott as the most challenging artist he has ever produced and expressed interest in a potential Virginia-focused compilation project alongside Pharrell Williams.
