Timbúes prepares for inaugural night marathon

The town of Timbúes is preparing for its first Night Marathon, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 24. More than 300 participants have already registered for the event.

The competition will begin at 19:00, with the starting line, finish line, and awards ceremony centered at the Parque Urbano Comunal. The event offers various distances to accommodate different ages and skill levels, including a 450-meter race for children, a 3-kilometer walk, a 6-kilometer integrative run, and a 12-kilometer competitive race.

Organizers recommend that those participating in the 12K race use headlamps due to the nighttime setting. Registration kits include a bag, t-shirt, finisher medal, and insurance.
