Timee and ZEALS partner to create data collection jobs for physical AI

Timee and ZEALS have entered into a co-creation partnership to establish a new category of “data collection spot work” aimed at training physical AI and humanoid robots.

As AI evolves, there is a growing need for “embodied real-world data” that captures how humans interact with objects, make decisions, and handle exceptions in physical spaces. While digital data is abundant, physical AI requires high-quality data regarding human movement, task sequences, and environmental interactions to function autonomously.

Under the partnership, ZEALS will focus on defining data requirements, designing collection tasks, and organizing peripheral operations at robot deployment sites. Timee will leverage its expertise in matching workers to tasks to recruit personnel, manage matching, and create employment opportunities for these new roles.

The collaboration also explores using spot workers to support the social implementation of ZEALS’s compact humanoid, “D1,” through tasks such as equipment setup, initial operational support, and user guidance. Both companies emphasized that privacy protection, data quality, and worker safety will be central to the operational design.
