Timiș County Council tenders 12.5 million lei landfill expansion

The Timiș County Council has launched a public tender for the design and construction of a third waste storage cell at the Tărpiu landfill. The project, estimated to cost 12.5 million lei, aims to ensure the continuity of municipal waste disposal operations while meeting environmental safety and efficiency standards.

The tender includes technical-economic documentation and the execution of works, such as leachate collection, gas capture, and environmental monitoring. This expansion is considered urgent as the second cell is already over 80% full. The deadline for submitting offers is September 4.
