Timiș County sanitation tariffs to change in October 2026

RETIM Ecologic Service S.A. and the Intercommunity Waste Development Association (ADID) Timiș have announced updates to sanitation service billing tariffs for residents and legal entities in Timiș County, effective October 2026.

The price adjustments follow decisions made by the ADID Timiș General Assembly regarding the costs of collecting and transporting municipal waste. The changes apply to different service zones within the county.

In Zone 0, which includes localities such as Lugoj, Criciova, and Recaș, urban population tariffs will increase from 27.81 LEI to 28.04 LEI (excluding VAT) per person per month. Rural population tariffs will move from 9.49 LEI to 9.56 LEI (excluding VAT). For legal entities in urban areas, residual waste tariffs will change from 273.20 LEI to 273.20 LEI (no change noted in specific line item) while recyclable rates are adjusted.

Zone 1, encompassing Timișoara and surrounding areas like Dudeștii Noi and Sânandrei, will also see updated billing rates based on the new municipal waste transport and collection costs approved under ADID Timiș Decision no. 38/29.09.2026.
