Timiș school leadership competition sees 176 candidates

The Timiș County School Inspectorate has announced that 176 candidates have applied for director and deputy director positions within the county's pre-university educational institutions. These applicants have submitted a total of 195 options for 115 educational units, 113 of which are located in Timiș.

Data indicates a higher concentration of interest in primary director roles, with 126 candidates seeking at least one such position. In contrast, 67 candidates applied for deputy director roles. Most applicants, totaling 162 individuals, submitted only a single option.

The selection process is currently in the file verification stage, which is scheduled to conclude by October 7, 2026. Candidates with incomplete documentation or errors will have from October 7 to October 9 to make necessary corrections. The final list of validated candidates is expected to be published on October 9, 2026.
