Timișoara and Bocșa host art, technology, and medieval festivals

Timișoara and Bocșa are hosting several cultural events in October 2026. In Timișoara, the third edition of the Autumn Salon will take place at the Adam Müller-Guttenbrunn House, featuring plastic arts from the Deutsche Kunst Reschitza painting circle and musical performances by the Temeswarer Liederkranz choir.

In Bocșa, the Hertz House will inaugurate a private museum of audio-visual technology titled ‘De prin timpuri trecute…’. The museum features a collection of radios, pickups, cassette players, and televisions from the private collection of Eugen Ernest Hertz.

Additionally, the Medieval Festival returns to Hunyadi Castle in Timișoara from October 16 to 18. The festival includes a parade featuring historical figures like Sigismund of Luxembourg, knightly tournaments, archery demonstrations, and medieval craft workshops. The program also features live music, historical gastronomy, and theatrical spectacles.
