Timișoara and Chișinău schedule municipal road and street restoration work

The municipal road authority in Timișoara, Romania, announced its work programme for 9 July 2026, detailing repairs and maintenance of streets, alleys, drainage, bridges and passages. The schedule notes that adverse weather may delay some tasks and that emergency repairs will be prioritised over the planned daily programme.

In Chișinău, Moldova, crews continue rehabilitation of the historic cobblestone section of 31 August 1989 Street between Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu‑Bodoni and Alexandru Pușkin avenues. The work focuses on installing a new rain‑water drainage network in line with the approved schedule.

Both projects are part of routine municipal infrastructure upkeep aimed at improving traffic safety and preserving historic urban fabric.
