Timișoara and Sibiu implement road and infrastructure repairs

Various infrastructure and road maintenance projects are scheduled in Timișoara and Sibiu, leading to localized traffic disruptions.

In Timișoara, SDM is conducting several road repairs on August 26. Works include sidewalk excavations at Intrarea Sepia 2, asphalt repairs at Aleea FC Ripensia, Cluj, Surorile Martir Caceu, and Johann Henrich Pestalozzi, and asphalt laying on Calea Martirilor. Other activities involve milling on Revoluției din 1989, repairs on Amforei and Teiului, and sidewalk reconstruction on Vulturilor. Additionally, street improvements are planned in the Blașcovici and Ovidiu Balea zones, alongside road marking updates on several streets.

In Sibiu, multiple construction sites are active, affecting various streets. On Bulevardul Vasile Milea, sidewalk repairs will occur first, followed by road resurfacing between September 21 and 30. Strada Cibinului is undergoing sidewalk and curb replacements alongside water network updates by SC Apă Canal SA. Strada Viitorului will be closed from August 31 to October 9 for water network modernization. Other planned interventions include road and sidewalk rehabilitation near the Traffic Police headquarters on Strada Revoluției.
