Timișoara City Celebration kicks off four‑day festival with 203 free events

From July 31 to August 3, 2026, the city of Timișoara in western Romania will host its annual City Celebration, offering 203 free events across more than 30 venues. The program combines concerts, cultural performances, heritage displays and community sports.

International headliners include American singer‑songwriter Beth Hart, Irish band The Script and Serbian Eurovision winner Marija Šerifović, who will perform on the main boulevard. The lineup also features Romanian and Moldovan artists such as Irina Rimes, Satoshi and others. Sports activities include 3×3 basketball, rugby, handball, skateboarding and BMX competitions, while the evenings will showcase multimedia shows on Victory Square.

The festival aims to highlight the city’s diverse communities, cultures and generations under the theme “One city. A thousand ways to experience it.”
