Timișoara hosts international youth robotics competition

The eighth edition of the Open Robotics Intelligent Grid (ORIG) is taking place in Timișoara, bringing together approximately 400 young engineering and robotics enthusiasts. The international competition features 40 teams from Romania, Moldova, and Lithuania.

Organized by the West University of Timișoara and the CSH robotics team, the event challenges participants to develop functional robots from scratch within a 72-hour timeframe. This year’s theme, ‘The hive is built by those who work as one’, focuses on the importance of teamwork. The competition finals are scheduled for September 5 at Iulius Town, where teams will test their creations against specific challenges.
