Timișoara hosts major cultural and gastronomic festivals

Timișoara is hosting several major cultural and gastronomic events in late September 2026. The MulticulTiM Festival, running from September 25 to October 3, celebrates the city's ethnic diversity through music, dance, and literature, featuring performances from various minority communities.

Simultaneously, the Hungarian Cultural Days are underway, offering gastronomy, theater, and folk dances. On September 26, the Timișoara Tasting Tour will take place, involving 71 participating restaurants, cafes, and bars. This gastronomic event allows participants to create their own routes through the city. Many of these locations are situated within Iulius Town, including Chin Chin, Czech In by Staropramen, and KAI.

The Tasting Tour festivities will conclude at Iulius Gardens with a free concert by the artist Rareș.
