Timișoara issues urgent blood donation appeal

The Timișoara Regional Blood Transfusion Center has issued an urgent appeal for blood donations as reserves for several blood groups have significantly decreased. The center is specifically requesting donors with B Rh negative, A0 positive, and A0 negative blood types to help support patients in intensive care, oncology, surgery, and orthopedic departments.

To encourage civic contribution, the Timișoara Public Service for the Administration of Public Parks (TIMPARK) continues its initiative to provide blood donors with a free one-month COMBINAT parking subscription. This benefit allows vehicle parking in red, yellow, and blue tariff zones. Donors can apply for this subscription either in person at the TimPark headquarters or through their dedicated online platform by providing medical proof of donation, identification, and vehicle registration documents.
