Timișoara National Museum of Art hosts 96th Annual Visual Arts Salon

The 96th edition of the Annual Visual Arts Salon in Timișoara is scheduled to open on September 9, 2026, at the National Museum of Art Timișoara. Organized by the Union of Plastic Artists of Romania (Timișoara Branch) in collaboration with the museum and the Timiș County Council, the event serves as a long-standing landmark for the local art scene.

This year's salon features works from 120 artists, including members of the UAPR Timișoara branch and graduates from various art universities. The event will include an awards ceremony where a jury will present the Primus Inter Pares Prize, the Youth Prize, and the Jury Prize. The exhibition is curated by Daniela Constantin and Nicolae Moldovan.
