Timișoara road construction triggers temporary traffic diversion

A temporary road diversion is being established in the Timișoara North Bypass – Mahle area to facilitate ongoing construction on a new overpass at the DN 69 roundabout. The temporary route will span approximately one kilometer and accommodate traffic in both directions between the Timișoara North Bypass parking area and the DN 69 roundabout.

The overpass project is part of the Timișoara West Bypass investment and is one of four planned grade-separated crossings. Once completed, the structure will allow vehicles to cross the DN 69 roundabout and provide a connection between the Timișoara North Bypass and the future Timișoara West Bypass.

The temporary route is not yet open to traffic. Authorities will announce the official opening date once the necessary setup and finishing works are complete. Drivers are advised to follow road signage and stay informed about potential future traffic restrictions or route changes as construction progresses.
