Timișoara Tasting Tour 2026 to highlight Banat gastronomy

The Timiș County Council is supporting a local gastronomy program at the Maria Theresa Bastion as part of the Timișoara Tasting Tour 2026. Scheduled for September 26, the event aims to highlight Banat's culinary identity through 'From Farm to Fork' experiences, tastings, culinary demonstrations, and live mixology sessions.

In partnership with HORETIM and Produs în Banat, the initiative seeks to connect local producers with the HoReCa sector. This effort aligns with the broader goal of promoting Banat as a destination in anticipation of the 'Banat, European Gastronomic Region 2028' program. The tasting tour transforms the city into a gastronomic route, allowing participants to visit various partner restaurants, cafes, and bars using a single ticket.
