Timișoara to host ASHRAE Region XIV Europe Conference in 2026

Timișoara will host the ASHRAE Region XIV Europe Conference Regional Chapters (CRC 2026) from September 3–6, 2026. Organized under the auspices of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, the international event will bring together specialists, researchers, academics, and professionals from the built environment sector.

The primary organizers are the Association of Installation Engineers in Romania (AIIR) and the Serbian HVAC&R Society (KGH), within the framework of the ASHRAE Danube Chapter. The Politehnica University of Timișoara (UPT) serves as an academic institutional partner and will host portions of the technical and institutional programs.

The conference aims to facilitate professional dialogue on critical challenges, including building decarbonization, energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, digitalization, artificial intelligence applied to HVAC&R systems, renewable energies, smart buildings, resilience, and sustainable urban development. Participants are expected from 19 countries.
