Timothée Chalamet joins celebrity Knicks fans at NBA Finals in San Antonio
Actor Timothée Chalamet was among a group of celebrities—including Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan and Ben Stiller—who travelled to San Antonio to support the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Spurs. The Knicks later clinched a 1‑0 series lead with a dramatic comeback win in Game 2, marking their 12th straight postseason victory.
After the win, Chalamet posted on Instagram about the physical toll of cheering, noting he “iced his knees” and warned fans not to underestimate the wear and tear of following a playoff series. Other Knicks players also battled injuries, with Jalen Brunson scoring 13 of his 30 points in the final stretch despite knee and ankle issues.
The celebrity presence highlighted the growing popularity of the Knicks' playoff run, while the team’s on‑court resilience kept the series competitive.
