Timothy Bradley Jr. accuses Shakur Stevenson of avoiding big fights

Boxing Hall of Famer and two-division world champion Timothy Bradley Jr. has publicly criticized Shakur Stevenson, accusing the undefeated fighter of avoiding high-profile matchups against elite competition.

Speaking on his YouTube channel and ESPN’s ‘Max on Boxing,’ Bradley stated that Stevenson is ‘moving scared’ and urged him to take greater risks to solidify his legacy. Bradley emphasized that true greatness requires challenging oneself against the sport’s best rather than simply preserving an undefeated record.

The criticism follows Stevenson’s move to Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing and his recent capture of the WBO super-lightweight title. Bradley specifically questioned Stevenson’s reluctance to engage in a previously discussed 144lb catchweight bout with Devin Haney, noting that Stevenson has since pivoted toward discussions regarding a fight with Ryan Garcia.
