Tin Kai-man clarifies comments on Lee Lik-chi and updates on Stephen Chow

Film industry veteran Tin Kai-man (Tin Gai) has addressed recent rumors regarding his comments about director Lee Lik-chi. Speaking at a reception celebrating the 77th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, Tin clarified that he never described Lee as a ‘two-faced person.’ Instead, he characterized Lee as ‘versatile’ or ‘smooth-dealing’ (八面玲瓏), noting that Lee often uses humor and a sharp wit that can be misunderstood by those unfamiliar with his personality.

Tin also discussed his enduring relationships with the cast of ‘Shaolin Soccer.’ He mentioned that he continues to maintain close ties with his former colleagues and is currently helping to review work contracts for the elderly Wong Yat-fei to protect his interests.

Regarding Stephen Chow, Tin noted that the director is currently busy with new projects, making reunions difficult. Tin revealed that he has participated in certain ‘money-making plans’ involving Chow, though he stated that specific details should be released by Chow himself. Tin expressed that he holds no resentment regarding his absence from the final scene of the film ‘Kung Fu Women’s Football,’ emphasizing that the bond between the cast members remains the priority.
