Tina releases self-titled debut album marking new musical era

Jamaican-born and Bronx-raised artist Tina, formerly known as HoodCelebrityy, has released her self-titled debut album, ‘Tina’. The 16-track project marks a transition in her career, moving away from her previous stage name to embrace a more mature musical identity.

The album blends dancehall, reggae, hip-hop, and contemporary R&B. It features collaborations with artists including Stonebwoy, Ne-Yo, Shatta Wale, and Lycinaïs Jean. Notable tracks include the breakout single ‘Walking Trophy’, which has surpassed 44 million Spotify streams, as well as ‘Pepsi’, ‘Round the World’, and ‘Malfunction’.

Tina’s new musical direction incorporates more introspective songwriting alongside her established rhythmic sound. The release follows a rollout that included appearances in New York and Jamaica, including a performance at the inaugural Jamaican Day Parade.
