Tinkunaku Community celebrates 30th anniversary in Quilmes
The Tinkunaku Community celebrated its 30th anniversary in Ezpeleta, Quilmes. Provincial Deputy Mayra Mendoza and interim Mayor Eva Mieri attended the event to present commemorative plaques recognizing the institution's cultural and social contributions.
Founded in 1996 by Bolivian migrants, the community and its associated fair occupy a full block on Florencio Varela Avenue. The organization focuses on preserving and disseminating the languages, wisdom, and traditions of the Quechua and Aymara peoples. The current board is composed of descendants of the original founders.
