Tino Radanović wins the 311th Sinjska alka tournament

Tino Radanović has been named the winner of the 311th Sinjska alka, a traditional Croatian knightly tournament held in Sinj. This marks his third career victory, following previous wins in 2007 and 2016.

Radanović secured the title with a total of 12 points after a tense competition that included two rounds of tie-breaking against competitors Josip Čačić, Pavao Prolić, and Frano Talaja. For his achievement, he received a ceremonial flag, a gold plaque, and a monetary prize of 7,000 euros. Croatian President Zoran Milanović was in attendance to present the winner with a sword and a gold ring.

The Sinjska alka, which commemorates the 1715 victory over Ottoman invaders, has been inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list since 2010. The event attracted thousands of spectators and high-ranking state officials, including the President of the Republic, the Speaker of the Parliament, and the Prime Minister.
