Tinta y Pluma project wins award for rural LGTBIQ+ literature
The 'Tinta y Pluma' project, organized by the Limbo Cultura association from Olivenza, has been awarded the best Cultural and Educational Initiative by the Manolita Chen Foundation.
For the past three years, the initiative has focused on bringing LGTBIQ+ literature to small rural towns in the province of Badajoz. The project facilitates encounters between 19 different authors and local audiences, often in municipalities with fewer than 2,000 inhabitants. These sessions are designed as open conversations centered on novels and essays that explore diverse identities and life experiences through literature.
