Tinubu Torch Bearers provide free healthcare in Amassoma, Bayelsa

More than 250 residents of Amassoma, Bayelsa, received free medical services during a community outreach organized by the Bayelsa chapter of the Tinubu Torch Bearers. Led by State Coordinator Dame Julie Donli, the initiative provided medical consultations, treatments, and medications to various community members.

Beneficiaries included elderly residents seeking treatment for eye-related conditions and children treated for ailments such as malaria and cough. Donli stated that the outreach aimed to bring essential healthcare closer to vulnerable populations and support the Federal Government’s Nigeria Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative, which focuses on strengthening primary healthcare delivery.

Dr. Genevieve Mordi, the South-South Zonal Coordinator of the group, attended the event to support the local chapter and provided cash assistance to some participants following their medical consultations.
