Tiny house designers introduce new models with enhanced amenities

Recent designs in the tiny house industry highlight a trend toward increased functionality and amenities within compact footprints.

Removed Tiny Homes has developed the Kirra, a single-level model designed for flexibility. Measuring 10 meters in length and 3 meters in width, the home features an open layout with a timber finish and extensive glazing. The interior includes a well-equipped U-shaped kitchen with a full-size fridge, oven, and induction cooktop, alongside a living area and a bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower. Due to its width, the unit requires truck transport rather than being towed.

Dragon Tiny Homes has introduced the Vista, a 24-foot custom model built on a double-axle trailer. This design emphasizes work-from-home capabilities by including a dedicated office nook. The interior features quartz counters and high-end amenities rarely found in small dwellings, such as a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The layout utilizes two separate lofts for sleeping areas and incorporates a storage-integrated staircase to maximize the 204-square-foot ground floor.
