Tiny Vinyl releases world's smallest turntable for 4‑inch records

American startup Tiny Vinyl, known for its 4‑inch vinyl records, has launched a dedicated turntable barely larger than a shoebox. Co‑founders Jesse Mann and Neil Kohler said the device was built in Nashville with help from local music‑industry engineers. It includes built‑in speakers and Bluetooth connectivity, and the platter is calibrated to play at the standard 33⅓ rpm speed. The cartridge and needle are off‑the‑shelf components, while the tiny tone arm, platter and control panel were specially designed.

The Tiny Vinyl Player retails for about US$50 and is sold through Target in the United States, with a planned launch in the United Kingdom this autumn. The company also offers a wall‑mount Frame and a storage Crate for the miniature records, and it intends to release artist‑themed versions of the player next year.
