The city of Štip has completed construction of a new three-level parking garage near the ‘Promaja’ building on Boris Kidrič Street. The facility provides more than 40 parking spaces and is already in use by citizens.
Mayor Ivan Jordanov stated that the project utilized over 20 million denars from the municipal budget to transform a previously unorganized area into a functional parking site. The project is expected to be included in the parking program of the public enterprise ‘Stipon’ during the next Council session.
To address traffic congestion, the municipality is planning further infrastructure improvements. Future projects include a multi-level garage behind the Štip municipal administration building and potential parking solutions near the shopping center to increase capacity in the central urban area.
