Štip police arrest three in drug trafficking operation

Police in Štip have arrested three individuals following an operation targeting illegal drug trafficking. The incident began on August 8, around 10:00 PM, when officers intercepted two Turkish nationals, identified as M.B. and M.D.U. (24), during an alleged sale of marijuana to a 23-year-old local resident, F.R.

During the operation, M.D.U. was apprehended with marijuana and a knife. Subsequent searches conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the residence of M.B. led to the arrest of another Turkish national, A.B. (21). Authorities seized several bags and packages containing marijuana, a white powdery substance, a digital scale, and a grinder, along with cash in various currencies.

A criminal complaint has been filed, and M.D.U. and A.B. have been placed in custody by court order.
