Tipitapa house destroyed by suspected arson following domestic dispute

A house in the San Benito community of Tipitapa, Nicaragua, was destroyed by fire on Monday morning. The residence, owned by 59-year-old Noé Daya Torrez, was constructed of wood and zinc.

Witnesses reported that a heated argument occurred between the owner and his spouse inside the home shortly before the flames broke out. Both individuals fled the scene immediately after the fire started. National Police and firefighters are investigating the incident under the presumption that the fire was intentionally set.
