Tipografia L’Artigiana to close after 70 years in Siena

Tipografia L’Artigiana, a historic printing shop in Siena, will close its doors on December 31 after more than 70 years of operation. Established in 1954, the workshop was the last traditional printing business remaining within the city walls.

Former employee Franco Turchi noted that at its peak, the business served approximately 400 regular clients, including international branches of Monte dei Paschi bank. The closure comes after no successors were found to take over the business.
