Tirana announces traffic diversions for Tiranathlon 2026

The Tiranathlon triathlon event, featuring swimming, cycling, and running, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026. To facilitate the race, the Municipality of Tirana and the State Police have established a traffic management plan.

Vehicle circulation will be restricted from 08:00 to 13:00 near Helen Park by Farka Lake. Affected areas include Daxhit Street, Zhan D’Ark Boulevard, Bajram Curri Boulevard (from Shkozë Bridge to the Selman Riza and Kastriot Feska intersection), and the main interurban road between TEG and Shkozë Bridge. A segment of the Grand Ring, from the Freskut Roundabout to TEG, will also see diversions.

Public transport will be impacted, with line 10/A being diverted to the bridge and line 10/C temporarily suspended. Emergency services and police vehicles will maintain normal access throughout the affected routes.
