Tirana Court imposes security measures against Rozalinda Nallbati

The Tirana Court has imposed two security measures against Rozalinda (alias Rosela) Nallbati, who is under criminal investigation for the alleged assault of investigative journalist Elton Qyno. The measures, issued in her absence, include a ban on leaving the country and a requirement to report to a judicial police officer.

Nallbati has been wanted by the Tirana Police since July 30, 2026, following an incident at a private hospital in Tirana where she allegedly struck Qyno with a phone. Despite searches by police and Rapid Intervention Force (FNSH) units in Tirana and Elbasan, she remains at large. The court's decision has been forwarded to the State Police for execution, and a copy has been sent to Interpol to facilitate a ‘Red Notice’.

In determining the measures, the court considered Nallbati’s family situation as the mother of two young children, aged 3 and 5. Nallbati is the wife of Florenc Çapja, a convicted criminal sentenced to life imprisonment for a 2012 double murder in Elbasan.
