Tirana International Film Festival announces 24th edition theme

The 24th edition of the Tirana International Film Festival (TIFF) is scheduled to take place from September 21 to 27. The festival has adopted the theme ‘HUMANOGRAPHY – Bring it back’, focusing on the core essence of humanity.

The theme aims to center human experiences—such as dignity, memory, identity, love, fear, and belonging—within the cinematic landscape. The festival seeks to explore what it means to be human in a modern era where identity is often reduced to digital profiles and human relationships are mediated through screens.

The program will feature both Albanian and international films designed to provoke questions regarding personal histories, conflicts, and the complex relationship between cinema and reality.
