Tire worker buys Toyota Hilux using thousands of R$ 1 coins

A tire repair worker in Quixeramobim, Ceará, gained social media attention after using thousands of R$ 1 coins to complete the purchase of a Toyota Hilux SRV. The vehicle was reportedly negotiated for a total of R$ 110,000.

To finalize the transaction, the buyer provided another vehicle as a down payment and covered the remaining balance with coins he had accumulated over several years. The payment arrived in bags and large jugs, surprising the dealership owner, Rafael Fernandes.

Due to the massive volume of coins, the dealership staff attempted to count them manually but were unable to finish the task. Ultimately, a portion of the coins was sold to a collector, while the rest was taken to a bank for processing.
