Tireo to host inaugural Potato Festival 2026

The municipality of Tireo, Constanza, has announced the first edition of the Potato Festival 2026, scheduled to take place on August 28, 29, and 30. The event aims to highlight the region's agricultural importance and the economic and social potential of its potato production.

Organized by the Festival Organizing Committee, the Tireo Municipal Council, the Association of Potato Producers (ASOPROPASI), and the Special Fund for Agricultural Development (FEDA), the festival will feature gastronomic offerings based on potatoes, cultural activities, educational talks, and recreational attractions for families.

The initiative seeks to promote local production and recognize the contribution of farmers to the country's economic development and food security.
