TISEZA and Vodacom Tanzania partner to digitize investment services

The Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) and Vodacom Tanzania PLC have signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate digital transformation within the country’s investment sector.

Signed in Dar es Salaam, the partnership aims to enhance services for both domestic and foreign investors by utilizing technology to improve the business environment. Vodacom Tanzania will provide various technological services, including business communications, internet services, Internet of Things (IoT) technology, and fixed internet solutions.

Beyond technical infrastructure, the two entities will collaborate on promotional activities to showcase Tanzanian investment opportunities, such as business conferences and roadshows. The initiative is intended to create a more efficient, connected, and investor-friendly environment to support Tanzania’s innovation-driven economic goals.
