TISI launches AI platform to automate legacy system maintenance

TISI Co., Ltd. has announced the launch of its ‘Maintenance AI Platform Construction Service,’ scheduled for release on September 25, 2026. This service is a new addition to the company’s ‘Xenlon Modernization Service,’ which utilizes proprietary rewriting technology to migrate legacy languages like COBOL and PL/I to Java.

The new AI platform is designed to automate and improve the efficiency of maintenance tasks following system migrations. By utilizing generative AI based on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, the service allows users to interact with AI agents via chat to inquire about system structures, design details, and error histories. This approach aims to transform knowledge gained during migration projects into continuous assets for the maintenance and operation phases, reducing reliance on specific individuals.
