Tissi starts new municipal well project to secure water supply

The municipality of Tissi has begun construction of a new municipal well and a complementary water‑storage tank. The works are funded with €250,000 from the regional Civil Protection and are scheduled for completion by September 2026.

Mayor Gian Maria Budroni said the project will strengthen the continuity of water supply for the whole community. In parallel, the company Abbanoa is carrying out leak‑detection and repair work on the existing network, while the first municipal well has already been re‑activated.

The coordinated effort aims to make Tissi’s water system more autonomous, modern and resilient, reducing waste and improving service reliability for residents.
