Tisza Party official accused of exploiting animal shelter for campaign

The Dharma Horse and Animal Shelter in Siófok has publicly accused Márk Radnai, Vice President of the Tisza Party and government commissioner for social dialogue, of exploiting the facility for political gain.

During the spring election campaign, Radnai filmed a dramatic campaign video at the shelter to demonstrate support for social dialogue and animal welfare. However, the shelter's leadership claims that since the filming, Radnai has failed to respond to any inquiries, calls, or letters for nine months. The shelter management characterized the visit as a mere attempt at 'political agitation' and 'clout chasing,' noting that the large production crew caused significant disruption to the site.

While Radnai responded by stating he filmed the video and left a small amount of money at the shelter, the owners maintain that the promised support never materialized and that they have been left to fund the animals' care entirely through their own resources. The shelter is also requesting the return of two irreplaceable photo books used during the shoot.
