Titan Forest Patagonia cycling race begins in Villa Cerro Castillo

The second edition of the Titan Forest Patagonia cycling competition has commenced in Villa Cerro Castillo, Chile. The event features four stages of racing, covering a total of 332 kilometers for mountain bike participants and 323 kilometers for gravel cyclists.

To mark the start of the competition, a family cycling event was held on November 1, bringing together local residents, children, and professional cyclists. The initiative aims to promote adventure sports and tourism in the Aysén region, specifically targeting the decentralization of major sporting activities away from Coyhaique and Puerto Aysén.

The race is organized by Sernatur Aysén with funding from the Regional Government of Aysén. This year's competition includes 115 participants, with the gravel category seeing a significant increase in entries compared to the previous year.
