Titanfall 2 receives ambitious full-campaign VR mod

A new community-developed modification, Titanfall 2 VR, has been released to bring the entirety of the 2016 game's campaign into virtual reality. Created by developer CircuitLord, the mod utilizes the OpenXR standard, allowing it to function across various compatible VR headsets.

Unlike simple camera shifts, the mod introduces immersive mechanics including manual weapon reloading, motion controls, a full VR body, and dedicated control systems for piloting Titans. The project uses the Northstar mod loader as part of its technical framework but installs a separate configuration profile named TF2VR. This ensures that the original game experience remains untouched for players who wish to play without the modification.

The installer is compatible with versions of Titanfall 2 purchased via Steam, the EA app, or Xbox on PC. Users must have the EA app installed and signed in to run the game. The mod is a free addition that requires a Windows PC and a VR-compatible headset.
