Titanii Nautical Sports Club offers adaptive rowing programs

The Titanii Nautical Sports Club Association (Kayak Champions) provides therapy, recovery, and social inclusion for people with disabilities and vulnerable groups through its ‘Paddle for Life!’ program. Launched in 2023, the initiative uses kayaking and dragon boating as tools for physical and psychological rehabilitation in Bucharest and surrounding areas.

Supported by Betano, the program has served over 400 beneficiaries. Recent improvements include a newly installed adapted pontoon at IOR Park, which allows participants to board boats safely and independently. The program’s impact was recognized at the 2024 Civil Society Gala, where it received second prize and the Social Impact Award.

Beyond physical benefits such as improved coordination and balance, the dragon boat activity emphasizes teamwork and community integration, helping participants build confidence and autonomy.
