Titanique musical to premiere in Stockholm in 2027

The musical comedy “Titanique,” a parody of the film Titanic, is set to premiere in Sweden at Börsen in Stockholm on January 15, 2027. The production features an exaggerated version of Céline Dion who claims to know the true story of what happened aboard the ship.

Edvin Törnblom will take on the lead male role of Jack, marking his first musical role. The production is directed by Edward af Sillén, who is also responsible for the Swedish translation. The cast includes Alma Bengtsson as Rose and Linda Olsson playing the fictionalized Céline Dion. The show will feature a live band performing various Dion hits, such as “My heart will go on.”

Hanna Hedlund, who is also involved with the production, noted that her busy schedule with the musical has impacted her personal life and dating habits. She expressed that she is currently satisfied with her life and does not intend to enter a cohabiting relationship again.
