Titi Müller limits child's social media exposure

Brazilian presenter Titi Müller has announced a decision to stop posting images of her six-year-old son, Benjamin, on social media. The move follows reflections on the long-term impacts of digital exposure and the permanence of content shared online.

Müller cited the influence of the ‘ECA Digital’—which establishes measures for protecting minors in virtual environments—as a significant factor in her decision. She questioned whether a young child can truly consent to being exposed online. Additionally, a notification from Meta regarding a collaborative post contributed to her shift in behavior.

To maintain some level of connection while ensuring privacy, Müller noted she now limits posts to images where her son is seen from a distance or from behind. This decision also stems from observing her son imitating her content creation habits, highlighting the intersection of digital life and childhood development.
