Titisee-Neustadt police investigate dangerous driving on B31

Police in Titisee-Neustadt are investigating a series of dangerous overtaking maneuvers that occurred on the B31 highway heading toward Freiburg on Sunday, August 16, 2026, around 2:45 p.m.

A 61-year-old driver operating a grey sports car reportedly overtook multiple vehicles using the right lane on a two-lane section of the road. These actions created several hazardous situations, including at least one instance where another motorist had to perform an emergency brake to avoid a collision.

Authorities are currently seeking witnesses who observed the driving behavior or anyone who may have been endangered by the vehicle. The Titisee-Neustadt police station has launched an official investigation into the incident.
